SELO Strengthening Early Learning Opportunities
The Strengthening Early Learning Opportunities (SELO) Programme provides professional development for early learning staff and leaders.
We support kaiako across Aotearoa to meet the priorities of Strengthening Early Learning Opportunities. Our unique approach, grounded in a kaupapa Māori lens, allows us to work alongside kaiako across all early learning service types and philosophies, tailoring guidance and resources to strengthen practice, enhance teaching capabilities, and support every tamariki to thrive.
Programme 2
Professional learning and development (PLD) provides flexible and targeted support to early learning services and Kōhanga Reo.
This includes inclusive learning environments, Te Whāriki delivery, Te reo Māori me ōna tikanga, Leadership and Teacher and learner support capability.
Programme 1
Provides in-depth professional learning development (PLD) to early learning services and Kōhanga Reo to help meet licensing requirements.
This includes but is not limited to Governance and Management, Health and Safety and Te Whāriki.
Partnering with kaiako to grow capability, deepen understanding, and strengthen early learning outcomes for all mokopuna across Aotearoa.
